Ohhh, I really not have time to sit down and write things out yet. Too tired, MUCH too tired.

There was Order meeting couple days ago. Order meeting plus new member induction. I arranged for some accepted recruits to come on the meeting day so they could get badges. Very good for them! They got put on the spot a bit because Manze made them talk and pledge but that is part of the process. Hopefully we be doing group inductions more from now on. (Especially if I keep prodding them to come. Manze already saying I am a bloodhound for seeking recruits, ha!)

Other things were spoken about in meeting I wish to write about more when am more concentrating. Talk of Veyne, of Raenilar and Morganae. And another, I forget his name now but he had vendetta against Crossing for killing his son.

Suppose I should mention that I been promoted to Councilor of the White Rose and Recruiting Lead, though. I am honored, yes, deeply honored, and hope can continue to do the Order proud. I worried because maybe Mariial think I steal her position, but oh, she kept saying over and over she thought I did good job, approved of my appointment, and so on. Still hard not to feel a little guilty. But I still accepted, and happy Mariial not mad.

OH and I will write about Yavus and Celitha wedding. I WILL! And maybe even write profile page because Manze nagged about it so. But later… later.

Still working on White Rose interviews, though work is slowing; I and Vice-Speaker Yavus have taken care of over half the backlog of applicants now. I am happy about this, seeing us progressing in new membership. Now we have many soon to be full member — I just spoke to several very good recruits about meeting with Speaker Manze to receive their badges. Soon, now!

Oh and recently I meet someone I hope will become a good friend, well-spoken and strong-willed Empath by the name of Naraya Ixtaro. She even decided take a chance with the Order after I and Alexsei speak of our reasons for joining, and our cause. I thought right away she and Terra would get along, and so far seems like they do quite well! Always good to have more people in the Realms to call friend, people of such unique strength and integrity as Naraya and Terra.

Right now, though, I am back to the wilderness I love. I am training, as Guildleader Kalika is demanding still more skill in surviving and traveling through the wilderness. Seems the Ranger guildleaders will soon be more strict with this, test us more rigorously, rather than favoring weapons training. This means I have been doing much swimming, climbing, scouting Ranger trails and foraging different types of wood, so that I may pass their new guild advancement tests.

Anlas of Starwatch

Ohhh, I been back for several week already, but so much going on I hardly have time for writing thoughts down. I think I write recently I get interview assistant position with the Order, yes? Now I am doing interviews alone as well. Speaker Manze and Vice-Speaker Yavus have said more than once they pleased with my work, and so I am proud and happy to help.

My only concern is that Mariial not think I wish to steal her work, or her position. I told her, this is not the case at all, but that I only wanted help the backlog of applicants be processed. She say she not mind, I certainly hope it is so, because I would defer to her if she ever wished go back to work with me. Until then I just try to serve the Order best I can.

There have been other issues, certain council member leaving the Order… I not want to write about this here. I have no hard feeling, but am sad at how things turned out, and hope that we still can look ahead to brighter future, with new recruits coming in.

But let me write of my time alone with Saisen, before I rest for the night!

Looks like I will be scarce for a week or two perhaps. Not because of any recent event actually! Is just planned vacation.

Will spend time with lifemate Saisen during vacation. Been so much training and business lately that we not see much of each other. As I say before, our love is subtle, but is one that endure for much of my adult life. I like keep love out of training and work, makes things uncomplicated. I speak of little about such things even with good friends… but does not mean I cannot love truly, yes?

One day you meet him, if you have not already. Until then… I go to be with him, soon. Still some training to do before then and maybe some work. But next I post be after vacation, I think.

Well, here I am writing again, another month go by… some uneventful, some not. I gained thirty-fourth Ranger promotion, and am training for thirty-fifth, need much survival training and weapon training as well. I am able to hunt swamp trolls to some extent now, though I think better I continue with piruati serpents and vipers for a while.

Order business has been a bit wearying lately. Some misunderstandings cleared up, or so I hope. Been given duty again, I am now recruiting officer’s assistant, so I be learning to do interviewing. Is something I am very excited to do, I will be helping Mariial and I will enjoy working with her!

Terra is taking bit of a break though, I will miss having her around more often but I understand. Oh, yes! This reminds me… She is to have a celebration of friendship with a good friend of hers, whom I have yet to meet! But I am invited, and she is having made custom clothing for me. I gave her preliminary design, I write it down here:

Oh, yes, yes. I write addendum to last post. I forgot to say few days (weeks?) ago that Terra and I helped Alexsei finish Resurrection Quest, finally! I must say, was nervewracking experience, tested my skills and direction sense very much, but we made it. This time no one even died, so I am very, very proud!

So now Alexsei can bring dead back to life. Is an unusual prospect, still, for one raised Prydaen. We Prydaen believe in different gods, after all, and different afterlife. So is interesting that this bridge that Berengaria and Alamhif create — goddess of dawn, and ah, Alamhif is positive aspect of Truffenyi — still works for Prydaen. Alexsei tell me it is spiritual bridge, allows the souls of those with gods’ favor to return to the living.

We Prydaen believe that rebirth occurs through the Wheel, by reincarnation. Tenemlor never before give us means to return to life. Instead she watches over realm of the dead, where Prydaen souls go to rest until they can be reborn into new kits. Some have said that use of favors may even be blasphemous to Tenemlor, but I not believe so. Especially not now that Eu-Demrris-Tenemlor allow us to ask favor of them as well, and return to life through the Bridge with Cleric’s guidance.

I suppose I am not so traditional Prydaen. But I prefer to believe is the desire of our gods that we learn to adapt, rather than be wiped out by lack of desire for change. After all, such adaptation is how we survive through Lyras attack and Migration from hubs. We learned to work with other races, learned we must burn our dead. I think that is possible to hold on to culture, yet still live in harmony with people of Kermoria… this I will always believe.

Well is time again for another journal post. I am just outside Therenborough right now, having happily discovered I have enough skill to travel to Langenfirth without going through Lake Gwenalion barge. This is happy, happy discovery for me. I miss Langenfirth much, is my favorite place to go for quiet time, and decent training too.

Ahh, before that, I have recently met with Speaker Manze and others about Order reformation and other business. Had a nice time, was a few days ago. We speak of organizing defense and trauma teams, and of Order roster. Oh, and Alexsei, he got promotion to Council member! We teased about it whole time, he is so humble, so easy to embarrass.

I feel sometimes like Order is almost like second family — not everyone, because I not know every member, but some of them. Terra, she become one of my closest friends, and inspire me to train harder, too. Of course, Manze and Mariial also (though I see less of Mariial lately, she is more often on the move!) Tonzan, he is very competent in position of trauma team leader, and good, kind person. Others as well!

Not much to write lately because I been training a lot as usual! Trying to get to thirty-third Ranger promotion now. Means I spend much time running about. MUCH much time, training survival skills… right now, mostly stalking training.

Recently have been participating in Speaker Manze’s desire to reform rules and structure of the Order of the White Rose. Am honored he trust me on this, though cannot write anything more than that until reforming is complete.

Other big news is something I try to keep low key, but will write here. After many many years of hesitation, of conflict between loyalty to tradition and to heart, I am finally bonded to my one and only lifemate. Saisen and I had very quiet ceremony in beautiful Ilaya Taipa chapel early today. No one of my friends knows, unless they read this… but I always keep love life private, I prefer this way.

I am happy. Today is very good day.

Ahh, I just heard the news yesterday. Manze came back, and is such a relief! I almost feared for the Order, is hard without leadership to get much done, or resolve dispute. Manze has very difficult job.

Other than that, have no recent news. No news is good news, yes? Well, I have been trying live an unexciting life for a little while after nearly fatal Forfedhdar excursion. Also, continuing to train for Ranger title, I just need a bit more hiding skill now. Maybe after that, can go train with Terra, finally! We are all back together in Rivercrossing again, she say she is nearly done with her training in Forfedhdar anyway.

I tried fighting moss meys again, near Leth Deriel, they are good match for me but tough skinned! Probably I go back there with Alexsei, so I have him around to help bless weapons. Also, easier to train in hiding with companion to draw attention.

Well… that all for now, I write again soon (hopefully!)

I am now in Forfedhdar. Terra is often asking me to come train here, and so I finally get around to exploring it. Forfedhdar province is a HUGE area! Am amazed at how much space there is and creatures to encounter.

Of course it helps I am Ranger, I have followed many trails of Rangers that come here before. I was looking for writhing maiden’s tress because Terra say they are good training for me. She is right — though I am just good enough to fight them safely and so cannot hunt more than two at a time.

Exploration has its danger though. I found this out when I took trail outside Boar Clan, home of Gor’Tog rangers and Dwarven miners that band together to form village. So you know to avoid this danger, I write about it.
